2. Mid C19 large house in free Gothic style. Two storeys attic and basement stone rubble with ashlar quoins. Gable end slate roof. North front: 2 gabled bays with fleur de lis finials saddle stones and kneelers. Square tower at West end with stepped crenellation. Attic windows casements with lozenge glazing bars. Superimposed bay windows to East of 3 lights, sashes. First floor oriel to West, other windows, recessed casements, plate glass but with corners cut by glazing bar, as on oriel, rusticated surrounds. Two niches flank ground floor window below oriel. Basement also has 4 casements. Flight of steps up to 4 centred moulded arched doorway. South front: similar gabled bays to those on North front. Four window casements most with lozenge glazing bars. Bay window of 5 lights with heavy concave cornice and superimposed bay windows with weather-boarded aprons to East. Four centred arched doorway with flight of steps in right angle of tower.
