SK 55 SW ANNESLEY ANNESLEY PARK Terrace to south-west of 6/2 Annesley Hall (formerly listed as Terrace retaining walls with balustrade and 13/10/66 stairway, and garden wall G.V. to rear Annesley Hall). II Terrace. Late C17. Brick with ashlar dressings and balustrade. 2 stages, 8 bays. Lower stage has central double stair with square newels and ball finials to balustrade. Below stairs, chamfered doorway to barrel vaulted chamber, flanked by single unglazed windows. Terrace balustrade has square pedestals with ball finials. Upper stage has pair of off-centre brick gate piers with ashlar quoins and pair of wrought iron gates with latticed posts and overthrow. Wall has scalloped top between piers, some of which have ball finials. At west end, ramped buttress and ashlar steps.
