SK 45 NE ASHFIELD CHAPEL STREET (north side) 3/22a Barn and stables at Nos.12-16 (even) 23/2/76 (formerly listed as G.V. outbuildings at No's 12 to 16 (even) II Barn and stables. Late C18 and early C19. Coursed and squared rubble, dressed stone and brick with pantile roofs, that to barn steep pitched. Single and 2 storeys. 4 bays wide by 7 bays deep. L-plan. Barn west gable has external brick and stone steps to central door above. South side has 4 doors and above, 3 casements. Stables, to east, have 4 doors alternating with slatted casements. To right, garage door and beyond, 2 doors.
