TRINITY ROAD 1. 1385 Old Police Station. Magistrates Court. SU 8486 1/169 II

2. Late C18 house extended in mid C19. Main house of 2 storeys, 3 windows, in brick. Quoins at ground floor, and band at 1st floor, both in stone. Glazing bars intact. Bracketed cills, and keystones to ground floor openings. Cornice in brick. Porch of probably later date with arched opening and rustication, cornice and parapet in stone, and inscription on parapet reading "Police Station". Rectangular transom light and plain modern door. Mid C19 Court Room extension on left, south, side in brick with slate roof. Inscription "Police 1869 Court" on extension. 3 windows, black brickband.
