Barn. C 1600 but rebuilt C 1990 after storm damage timber framed barn of 5 bays on stone and modern brick plinth. Central waggon bay. Sole plate, mid rail and top of wall plate are almost entirely of modern oak pegged in the traditional way. Most of the upright posts are original except for 1 corner post and have jowls. During reconstruction the opportunity was taken to replace the curved tension braces in the wall frame and 4 out of 16 are original tie beams and queen posts and collar beams are original but the 8 curved windbraces are in C20 oak. On the inner side of the frame the tops of gable end posts and doorway posts are angle braced off the intermediate rails. 9 out of 28 rafters pairs are original. Double plate over south doorway. C20 oak bressumer with run out step inserted to one side of central door. A rare example of a gabled barn in south last England.

Barn. Circa 1600. Timber frame, weatherboarded cladding replacing wattle and daids infill panels, steeply pitched corrugated asbestos roof replacing thatch. Five bays Wagon way through control bay with opposing doors. Jowelled bay posts and a central post in each gable end wall. A central rail and a central stud in each side bay and between gable end posts. On the inner side of the frame the tops of gable end posts and doorway posts are angle braced off the intermediate rails. Queen strut trusses with collars and braced principal beams. Continuous purlins with evidence of wind braces in the central bay. A double plate over the south doorway and panel above the lower lintol over the north doorway. Evidence of a lean-to extension in the framing of the west gable wall. West wall largely reframed. A rare example of a gabled barn in southeast England.
