GV II

House, now 2 cottages. Early-mid C18. Punch-dressed stone painted white, concrete pantile roof though thatched originally. 3-room plan with gable-entry and outshut to rear of first 2 cells. 2 storeys with single-storey outshut, 4 first-floor windows. 1st cell: small window with chamfered surround and 12-pane Yorkshire sash to left of larger Yorkshire sash. Above are 2 small Yorkshire sashes with chamfered surrounds. 2nd cell: large Yorkshire sash to left of inserted doorway with small window above. 3rd cell: small 12-pane Yorkshire sash to each floor with chamfered surrounds. All windows have wooden shutters. Large ridge stack at junction of first 2 cells. Rear: 3rd cell at left end has Yorkshire sash window with large monolithic lintel with smaller 2-light chamfered mullioned window to 1st floor. 2 eaves dormer windows. Outshut has 3 Yorkshire sash windows to left of small light. Cat-slide roof with large dormer. Left-hand return has doorway with sandstone lintel in outshut. 1st cell has large window with concrete lintel and same above.
