9/42 North Elmsall Lodge - Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse. c.1800. Scored stucco on magnesian limestone, stone slate roof. Rectangular double-depth plan. Two storeys and 4 bays; doorway to 2nd bay, with door of 6 fielded panels, overlight with glazing bars and margin panes, simple moulded wooden surround; 3 windows at ground floor and 4 above, all 16-pane sashes with exposed boxes, raised stone sills. Chimney at left side wall. Hipped roof swept over eaves. Rear of less interest. Interior: open string staircase with stick balusters.
