Detached Cottage. C17 and later. Local lias stone coursed rubble, colourwashed; thatched roof with coped gable to west, plain gable to east; rendered chimney stack with brick baffle at west end. Two storeys, 2 bays. Below, 3 and 2-light hollow chamfer mullioned windows with square labels, framing simple casements; above two C20 steel casements under older timber lintols; between bays an early boarded door in heavy frame, with open stone and tiled porch having hipped roof. Lean-to against west gable, with flush panelled door; C20 pantiled extension on south east corner. Interior not seen, but reported are stud and plank partitions, an altered fireplace with curing chamber, a spiral staircase in stone, and one cambered arched timber doorway.
