2. Early C19 refronting of earlier building. Formerly used as Quaker Meeting Room. 3 storeys. 1 window. Hipped Welsh slate roof. Slate-hung, timber-framed front with plain eaves band. Architraved sash windows to 1st and 2nd floors with glazing bars. Ground floor loggia over pavement carried by wooden Doric columns. Front retains moulded stone corbel to party wall of earlier building. Good early C19 shopfront with semi-elliptical bowed shop window with small panes. Shop doorway with rectangular fanlight with margin lights. ½ glazed double shop door. Interior altered, but retains chamfered oak ceiling beams to ground floor. (M. Laithwaite).
