Details
CALDECOTT MAIN STREET SP 8693-8793 (south-east side) 11/18 No 1 (Threeways). GV II
House. Dated 1814 and 1859 on oval plaque in right gable end. Semi-dressed ironstone rubble with large Uppingham stone quoins and pale limestone sill and lintel bands. Slate roof, coped gables with moulded kneelers. Brick chimney to left, ashlar chimney with moulded necking to right. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Outer bays have 3-light wood and metal casements, transomed to ground floor. Similar 2-light casement to centre of first floor, over 6-panelled door with rectangular fanlight. All openings have shaped lintels with triple keyblocks. Small C20 extension to rear. Included for group value.
