Nos 9 and 11.
GV II
Row of 2 houses. Early-mid C19. Coursed limestone rubble with dressed limestone
quoins. Slate roof, coped gables, ashlar chimney to left of centre, brick
chimney to right. 2 storeys, 5 bays. First floor has regular C20 paired wooden
casements. Ground floor is irregular with similar 3-light windows flanking door
to left, and later C20 wooden window with asymmetrical top-light to right.
Another door in fourth bay. Doors are 6-panelled, the right with glazed top
panels. All openings have long limestone lintels with keyblocks. Included for
group value.
