House and shop. Mid C17. Coursed ironstone rubble, thatched roof, coped gables,
brick chimneys to gables and between left bays. Cross-passage plan. 1 1/2 storeys,
3 bays. 3-light windows with ovolo-moulded ironstone mullions, those to ground
floor with casement cornices, those above partly in thatch. Ground floor right
bay altered to C20 shop window. Between left bays are a small fireplace window
and a C20 door in moulded stone surround with casement cornice. C20 shop door
between right bays. C20 extension to rear of right bay. Interior: has fireplace
with cambered wooden lintel backing onto cross-passage, and winder stair in line
with fireplace. Chamfered spine beams, that in right bay with moulded stops.
