7/367 Trussal Farmhouse -
GV II
Farmhouse. Circa early C18. Rendered walls (probably over dressed granite). Fairly steep grouted scantle slate roof with some original crested clay ridge tiles. Granite ashlar chimneys over 3 granite coped gable ends with moulded kneeler stones. Plan: L-shaped 3 room plan with probably hall/kitchen on the left; dairy or back parlour on the right and parlour wing at right angles in the front of the right hand side with the stair hall behind the parlour in this wing. Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular front with 2 window front of principal range facing south and 3 window front of parlour wing facing west. Doorway is into parlour wing near the angle. Principal front has 3 ground floor windows. C20 door. Circa late C19 or C20 horned sashes. Old window with glazing bars at rear right. Interior: Partly inspected has C18 dog-leg stair with closed string and turned balusters; ovolo moulded beams. Probably original roof structures, not inspected.
