This Priory was founded in 1157 for Austin canons by Maurice Fitzgerald. It never
flourished and the last Canon died in 1507. All that now remains is the west
arch of the crossing of the Church of circa 1250, of rubble and some brick. It
stands in a field to the north of Priors Field. Access from Bicknacre Road, CM3 4ES.
