Rectory, now divided into 2 dwellings. 1873 by R.W. Drew of London for V.S.S Coles. Coursed and squared rubble with freestone dressings, 'tile roofs, pennant dated 1873, tall stone stacks. High Victorian Tudor and neo-Early English style, roughly a T-plan, "rather plain and gaunt with a central hall for meals, and an oratory (to east) without an altar where the "lesser hours" are said and confessions sometimes heard". Two storeys and attic, taller gabled cross-wing to north. Projecting south wing with hipped roof, half-hipped dormers over first floor windows. Irregular windows of one, 2 and 3-lights, some with transoms and some with trefoiled heads, some lights with sash windows, some lights with iron casements. East front with projecting oratory and adjacent stair-turret with conical roof; foiled oculus to gable with buttress below, some stained glass. The principal door opening to north, moulted pointed-arch freestone surround, paired panelled doors. Interior with cantilevered staircase, turned newels. (VCH, vol IV, 1978).
