(Formerly listed as The Old School)

School and master's house. 1844 by George Gilbert
Scott. Flint cobbles with stone and gault brick dressings and
stone coping. Plain tile roofs with gabled ends. Flint and brick
axial and lateral stacks and flint, brick and stone bellcote on
ridge. Plan: T-shaped on plan. Long range of school rooms on
right with central entrance porch and master's house in crosswing
on left. Exterior: 2-storey master's house in gabled crosswing
on left with sash windows with margin panes and thick central
glazing bars, in chamfered stone architraves. Long 4-window
single storey school range on right with tall 2-light stone
mullion with small lozenge shape panes, small gabled wooden porch
to left of centre and lean-to porch in angle on left. Gabled
bellcote on ridge with pointed arch. At rear 4-pane sashes and
gabled dormer in schoolroom range. Interior: not inspected.
