GV
II

Barn and stables, with granary. Late C17 or early C18, altered. Hand-made brick, stone slate roof. L-shaped plan, the barn on a north-south axis forming the west side of the farmyard, and the stables with granary at right angles forming the north side. The barn has a small square-headed wagon door close to the angle; the stable range is two-storeyed and four bays, with a doorway to the second bay, rectangular windows at ground floor (mostly altered or damaged) and square windows above, and at the right-hand end of the first floor is a doorway approached by steps flush with the front wall. Gable end of barn has been rebuilt in modern brick following collapse, but it retains a hipped roof. Both parts have saw-toothed eaves bands, and in the rear walls cruciform breathers; rear of barn also has owl-hole with perching stone, and rear of stables has three-course band.

Interior: stable range has king-post roof trusses with V-struts.
