EVERCREECH CP PECKING MILL ROAD (East side) ST63NW 7/179 Pecking Mill Farmhouse 2.6.61 - II
Mill house and mill, now farmhouse. Coursed rubble, freestone dressings, tile and pantiled roofs, coped verges and copings at roof divisions, an ashlar stack with a moulded cap, a brick stack on an ashlar base, a brick stack with a moulded freestone cap, and a brick stack. Two storeys and attic, virtually symmetrical front of 1:5:2 bays; centre section with 12-pane sash windows in moulded stone architraves, between outer windows of first floor 3 stone niches for pigeons, centre bay with front-facing attic gable with coping and a finial, Venetian window, sashes with glazing bars, to the centre Gothick. Central door opening with a moulded stone architrave, triangular pediment on consoles, 6- panelled door, top 2 panels glazed. Side-units divided by freestone pilasters, with simple 2-light hollow-moulded stone-mullioned windows, left with a loading door on ground floor, ground dropping away with basement doorway in moulded stone surround; plank doors, Wing to right with C20 door in similar surround.
