Details
BOXTED CHAPEL ROAD 1. 5214 Wenlocks TM 03 SW 4/22 II 2. C16 timber framed and black weatherboarded with ridge, hip and gable roof and single storey addition at north east, all thatched. One large dormer with gable facing north-west, casement window. A range of 3, sliding-sashes on ground storey. Door central to length. The original build of 2 bays with intruded first-floor on clamps, one internal partition wall. Floor joists of circa 1600 with diminished- haunches and of deep sections, bridging-joists stop-chamfered. Bladed scarf. (RCHM 10).
