2. 1784, altered 1805 and in mid C19. Corner site with Yelf's Road. Three storeys painted brick, stuccoed plinth. Roof concealed by a small stucco parapet with moulded coping and band. Curved inset corner stuccoed of one window, and 6 windows to Union Street, four of them mid C19 superimposed canted bays, through three storeys, three lights each, sash, no glazing bars, plain surrounds, frieze, plain on ground floor, panelled on first floor, and with fluted triglyphs to second floor with heavier projecting cornice to each bay. Other two windows, recessed, sash, no glazing bars, bars, block sills, flat brick arches. Main entrance in second bay North of corner. Inner panelled and glazed double doors. Front door, lower part panelled, rest glazed, architrave surround. Side lights with moulded sills, swagged aprons, panels below. Entrance is flanked by square section Tuscan columns supporting entablature with moulded cornice. Partially obscured by early C20 glazed hood suspended on iron ties over pavement. Bowed stuccoed corner has recessed panel at top. Recessed slightly bowed sash windows, glazing bars intact, in architrave surrounds with block sills. South elevation to Yelf's Road is also stuccoed early C19. From East to West: three bays with similar windows, in architrave surrounds, to those on corner. Next a taller block (still of three storeys) with moulded cornice and parapet. Six windows, the outer ones in slightly recessed bays, a number of them blind, others recessed sash, glazing bars and block sills, two recessed panelled doors, one with narrow rectangular fanlight. Raised stucco surrounds and plain friezes with block cornices. The Western door is raised up but there are no steps down. The inner facades to rear facing North and West show a similar treatment, some windows with bracketed cast iron balconies.
