SJ 70 SW KEMBERTON C.P. HIGH STREET (west side) 4/93 The Cedars -
- II M R S House. Datestone 1722 to front, remodelled late C18 with later additions and alterations. Red brick on stone plinth, stone plat bands and moulded eaves cornice, concrete tiled roof, 2 brick end stacks. 3 storeys; 3 bays, late C18 glazing bar sash windows with. plastered lintels, reduced proportions to top floor; central entrance, C20 door under early C19 radiating fanlight, early C19 Tuscan porch. Blind segment headed windows in gable end to south; British Insurance plate (with lion emblem) to range at right angles to rear. The roof (perhaps originally gabled to the front) has been raised to allow the insertion of the second floor windows and eaves cornice.
