SJ 70 SW KEMBERTON C.P. MILL LANE (north side) 4/96 Kemberton Hall Farmhouse -

Farmhouse, possibly originally a barn. Probably C17 with later additions and alterations. Pebbledash rendering mostly concealing timber frame, machine and old tiled roof. T-shaped plan. 1 1/2 storeys; long main range probably originally of 8 bays with later addition to right, short gabled range to rear with dentilled eaves cornice; irregular fenestration, one glazing bar sash to ground floor on left, 3 late C20 casements to right, 4 raking half dormers; 6 panel door to left with plain hood; crow stepped brick gable and inserted end stack to left, large stack to right of entrance behind ridge with toothed cornice below paired shafts; fragmentary square panelling visible in back wall.
