Former rectory house. 1802. Rendered south front, clunch and brick returns, slate roof. Two storey five bay south front, two storey with attic returns to north. Neo-classical. Two two-bay outer bows segmental on plan have two ground and two first floor curved sashes with glazing bars, architrave surrounds. Central first floor sash. Central porch has four piers with bases and capitals, segmental arch supporting cornice and parapet, part glazed raised and fielded door. Facade has first floor platband, attic cornice and parapet following line of segmental bows. At south single storey blank bay with end pilaster strip and cornice, east return with tripartite sash with glazing bars. Hipped roof with two rendered stacks.
Replaces Rectory house in which Admiral Lord Nelson was born on different site.
