House. Early C18 with C19 and C20 extensions and alterations.
Rendered and whitewashed brick. Hipped slate roofs with 2
rendered ridge stacks. The roof above the left bay is supported
on wooden brackets. 2 storeys, 6 bays. The central 3 bays that
project, are set on a plinth and are topped with an ashlar coped
pediment. Central doorway with C20 part glazed door and
projecting hood supported on brackets, flanked by single glazing
bar sashes. To the left is a single C19 large canted bay window
with glazing bar sashes, to the right are 2 glazing bar sashes.
Above are 5 glazing bar sashes, the 2 on the right having smaller
panes. The pediment has a blocked oeil de boeuf flanked by
single carved heads with a single carved garland over. To the
right is a lower 2 storey painted brick and hipped slate 2 bay
wing with single rendered ridge stack. Single blocked opening
with a C20 bay window with casements to the right. Above is a
single glazing bar sash. Other front have been altered.
Interior has a quarter-turn staircase with carved tread ends and
2 turned wooden balusters per tread.
