2. Formerly listed as Vernon Lodge, Vernon Square. Facing North down Vernon Square. Now subdivided into flats. Circa 1830. Three storeys. Five windows. Stuccoed. Consists of a centre block and two recessed wings. The centre portion has flanking pilasters and a stringcourse above the first floor. Its centre window bay breaks forward slightly with a pediment over it and in the centre is a semi-circular portico of four fluted columns with lights with pilasters between the lights, and cornice and parapet over. Other windows in moulded surrounds, the first floor ones with architraves over. Of the recessed wings the West one has a stringcourse above the second floor. Glazing bars intact. On the garden front is another curved bay containing the staircase.
