FORDHAM CHURCH ROAD 1. 5214 The Three Horseshoes Public House TL 92 NW 7/27 7.4.65 II GV 2. C16 and earlier, timber framed house of one storey with attics and 2 gabled east facing dormers. Elevations rendered, roof ridged and gabled, clad with pegtile. Modern chimney stack at north end of ridge. Ground storey with central front door (modern) under flat hood on brackets with a pair of 6 pane sashes in exposed boxes left and right.. Evidently an open hall at the north when first built laterally divided in the later C16, with storeyed service in south bay where evidence of first floor and buttery partition survives in the bar room.
