II
Architects office and antique dealers, now dance studio. 1888. Designed by R Lennard for himself. Red brick, and half-timbered with pebble-dash and terracotta panel infill, plus ornate pantile and Welsh slate Mansard roofs, and a single brick stack. 2 storey and attic. 3 window front. Brick ground floor has 3 large segment headed windows, that to the left set lower, all with canted 4-light oriel windows and overlights and sidelights with small square panes, below are painted terracotta panels. Above pebble dash with fossil decorations, to the right a projecting balcony with turned balusters, containing a canted bay window with terracotta 'sunflower" panel and small pane upper lights. To the left, double loft doors with overlights and flanking upper sidelights, all with small panes, above again an ornate gable with 4-lights alternately plain and with small panes. At the right canted corner a segment headed doorway, with part glazed door and overlight, both with small panes. Above an oriel window with small pane upper lights and a figure head below, the small Dutch gable above has a square terracotta plaque. The right return has a gabled dormer with 4 glazing bar lights and terracotta panels and decorative barge boards. The roof has ornate terracotta ridge tiles and finials.
