TQ 04SW BRAMLEY C.P. THORNCOMBE STREET
5/79 Vanhurst 9/3/60 II
House. C16 with C18 and C19 alterations and additions, C20 extensions to rear. Timber framed core refaced in colourwashed stucco, rusticated on ground floor, with galleted and brick dressed sandstone rubble to right, tile hung above, under plain tiled roofs. Two storeys and attics, large tile hung gable to right of centre. Offset end stack to right with further stacks to centre rear and to left end. First floor originally jettied on moulded bressumer, to right with three scroll brackets supporting. Glazing bar sash fenestration with four windows to first floor, one window in the gable bay tripartite, and four windows to the ground floor, one tripartite window to left. One window range set back to right end with further wing at right angles to rear. Door to left hand return front in C20 rear extensions.
