II

Pair of cottages, now house, C17 (dated 1665 on reset timber), timber frame with red brick panels and thatched roof, hipped to east, with 2 rebuilt ridge stacks. One and a half storeys, square- framed 3 x 13 panels with ogee-curved angle braces. Ground floor casement pair each side, centre door in C20 thatched porch and 2 single casements to right, one with dated lintel. Thatched eaves dormers, casement pair to left and large 1-3-1-light leaded oriels, probably c1900 to centre and right. To left of main range under roof hip is rubble stone and chalk addition with casement window. Rear has straight angle braces and casements to ground floor and dormers. Door to left. Timber framed west end wall with plaster panels.
