Owlet Grange
II
Farmhouse, now two dwellings, Late C17, enlarged and remodelled in later C18. Coursed squared sandstone with quoins, stone slate roof. Rectangular double-depth plan. Two storeys; south front five bays, symmetrical; central doorway with plain surround; four windows at ground floor and five above, all sashed without glazing bars; moulded gutter brackets, Corniced gable chimneys; gable copings with kneelers. (Modern lean-to addition at right-hand end, not included in the item).
Rear has inter alia two doorways in the centre (one blocked) and two chamfered mullion windows on each floor, all of three light and mostly recessed.
Interior: altered, but rear rooms have large C17 chamfered beams, and rear left room has a large rectangular stone fireplace.
