Details
COMMERCIAL ROAD E14 1. 4431 (North Side) No 805. Star of the East Public House. TQ 3681 17/633 II GV 2. C19. One building although now occupied as two. Red brick and tiles, central hipped slate roof with cresting. 3 storeys, 3 sets of windows. Top floor, central window of 5 lights flanked by 3 light windows. 1st floor, central window of 3 lights with 2 light flanking windows. Stone filled tympana under gothic arches to all, except top outer windows, with roundels containing masks. Plain sashes, no glazing bars. Facade with decorative tiles above impost bands. Ground floor retains pub front although part now used as cafe. Interior features.
Nos 795 to 805 (odd) and the Star of the East Public House form a group with the lamp standards in front of the Star of the East Public House.
