House. Mid C16, possibly around an earlier core, extended to right in C18 and to
rear in C20. Timber framed to centre and left on tall rubblestone plinth, sand-
stone rubble infilling to frame below, tile hung above in semi-circular pattern.
Coursed and galleted sandstone to right end with brick dressings and alternate
rows of semi-circular and plain tile hanging above. Plain tiled roof, half-hipped
to right and hipped to left. At right angles to street. Two storeys, originally
three framed bays with multiple stack to left on ridge, ridge stack to right of
centre. Wood-framed, diamond pane leaded casement fenestration with five windows
to first floor, including one 3-light window in extension to end. Two windows with
ovolo mullions. Five windows to ground floor, two to right of centre with ovolo
mullions. Tile hanging swept out over ground floor on brackets. Studded door to
right of centre up a flight of five stone steps and at right angles, with sand-
stone retaining walls. C20 brick and tile hung wing to rear, at right angles.
