House, now divided. C17. Timber framed,clad in sandstone to ground floor centre under tile hung first floor, sandstone block gable end wings and plain tiled roofs. Two storeys. Ridge stack to right of centre and end stack to left. One first floor casement window to left of centre and one boarded louvred opening in the apex of each gable. Cambered head, three-light casement window to left of centre and on ground floor of gable wings. Similar windows on first floor of wings. Door to left hand return front in trellised gabled porch. (Mervil Cottage). Frame exposed with whitewashed infill on left hand wing. Further door on right hand return front.
