House and shop. C16 or earlier timberframed building refronted in late C19. Clad in weatherboarding on brick plinth with tiled roof Two storeys; 4 windows. Left side has projecting gable, right side has parallel ranges. Left side has 2 storey canted bay with vertical glazing bars and similar single sash adjoining. Two casements to right and later C19 shopfront. Doorcase has recessed C20 door under round-headed arch on engaged columns. Side elevation clad in red brick with end chimneystack of 2 inch brickwork. Ground floor has exposed timber framing with square section joists of thick scantling. Diamond mortices for former window and shutter groove delineate former end wall extended by chimney bay. C19 staircase. First floor has exposed frame with curved braces.
