WIX SPINNEL'S LANE TM L2 NE
Carbonells 8/292 - II
House. C14/C15 rear wing, C15 or earlier front range. Timber framed, C18 red brick facing. Red plain tiled roofs, hipped to left with gablet. Single storey rear range with red brick chimney stack. 2 storey front range with large off set rear chimney stack incorporated in aisle on outshot, right external chimney stack. Parapet verge to rear range left gable, 3 small paned windows, 2 doors and 2 tie plates. The front range has dentilled eaves cornice. 1:3 first floor and 0:2 ground floor mainly tripartite small paned vertically sliding sash windows, French windows to right and a C19 door with top light to far right. internal features include, large chimney stack to rear range, inserted ceiling, part of a heavy chamfered arched brace is visible, possibly arched to collar. Front range, heavy bridging and ceiling joists, widely exposed wall studs. Semi-circular doorhead not in-situ. RCHM 3.
