CONSETT Hamsterley Mill MILL FARM ROAD (East side) Mill House (Formerly listed as Hamsterley Mill Farmhouse)

GV II Farmhouse, now house. C18, with C19 and C20 alterations. Sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins; concrete-tiled roof.

Two storeys, three bays. Central four-panel door and three-pane overlight; three-light ground-floor and two-light first-floor casements with glazing bars and bullion glass; all openings under label moulds; projecting stone sills. Trefoil window over door in plain stone surround. Eaves raised by one course; curved kneeler at front of right gable. Roof has two ashlar-corniced end chimneys.
