The following building shall be added:
CHURCH STREET, W4 (west side) Group of 9 Chest Tombs TQ 2177 NE 1/243 approximately 10 to 18 metres south of east end of south aisle of Church of St Nicholas II GV
Group of 9 chest tombs. Limestone. Early C18 to mid C19. Tombs are described from east to west. Memorial to two daughters of Governor Van Teylingen, d. 1769: moulded plinth and cornice, fluted corner pilasters and bolection-moulded inscription panel. Memorial to Thomas Cary, d. 1769: moulded plinth and cornice, fielded inscription panel and wide corner balusters with acanthus-leaf carvings. Unidentified memorial to north west of Cary memorial is mid C18 with moulded plinth and cornice, fielded inscription panels and wide corner balusters. Memorial to Thomas Snooke, d. 1723: of brick with recessed panels and cyma-moulded lip to stone top. Memorial to Alexander Brodle, d 1811: panelled pilasters flank recessed panels: moulded cornice and shaped top. Memorial to Joseph Constantine, surgeon, d. 1846; moulded plinth and cornice with raised inscription panel and hipped top with antefixae, Memorial to William Yates, d. 1758: plain, with moulded plinth and cornice and slate top.
