Originally stables to Wonersh Park, converted and divided. 1745 - 1759 by Sir Fletcher Norton, first Lord Grantley. Red and brown brick with some blue brick headers in arches over windows, painted weatherboard to first floor of rear (south) range. Hipped plain tiled roofs with boarded lanterns to centre of north and south sides. Rectangular plan around central courtyard with carriage-ways under lanterns to north and south sides. Lanterns - hipped lower stage and offset upper stage under pyramidal roof. Louvred upper stage with keystone arches on impost mouldings to each face. Two storeys, four stacks, 3 on the west range. North range - Court facade - 13 first floor C20 casement windows, 7 larger windows to the ground floor with two oval blue header filled panels to ground floor windows flanking carriageway. Six panel door under diamond tracery transome light and flat hood to left, similar door to right and further door in left hand wall of carriageway. East range - Central alley. 7 windows to first floor and two ridge stacks. Plat band over ground floor. Four windows to ground floor and one 6-panel door under a transome light and flat hood to either side of centre. West range - Four roof lights and plat band over ground floor. 10 windows to ground floor and six sets of garage doors. Two half-glazed doors under flat hoods.
