Early C19, Main block of 4 storeys in coursed stone with stone quoins. Mill
to left of 4 bays. 3 windows, wood lintels, sliding sashes with glazing bars.
2 bays of 2 upper floors repaired in brick. Hoist doors, gabled cover. Also
hoist door to left above new door of 6 fielded panels, 2 windows, glazing bars.
2 other mill doors. Extension to left of 1 storey. 1 door to right of 6 panels,
under lintel, in section undergoing rebuilding at time of survey. Right is mill
house of 2 storeys in coursed stone with pantile roof and 2 brick stacks. 2
windows, stone lintels, sliding sashes with glazing bars. Similar windows to
ground floor, also door of 6 panels, 2 glass, up 3 steps. Building fronts archway
over mill stream. Rear premises being converted at time of survey, including
Mill Stream Cottage - 2 storeys in coursed stone with pantile roof and 2 brick
stacks. 4 windows, wood lintels. 3 windows to ground floor, 2 casements, 1
modern. Modern door with glazing bars. The other cottage wing is also of 2
storeys with 3 irregular sliding sash windows to 1st floor, wood lintels. Wood
eaves cornice. Modern bow to ground floor and 2 modern doors with glazing bars.
Extension of 1 storey with 2 modern windows. Rear courtyard includes 1-storey
stable ranges. Cobbled yard.
