WESTGATE 1. 5340 (South Side) Nos 1 and 2 SE 7983 1/410 II GV 2. Early C19. 2 storeys in coursed stone with stone slate roof with 3 brick stacks. 2 windows, hung sashes with glazing bars, stone lintels. 2 doors of 4 fielded panels below 4-light rectangular fanlights and stone lintels.
Nos 1 to 22 (consec), 23A and 23B, Nos 24 to 29 (consec), Storage premises to left of Nos 28 and 29, 30 to 37 (consec), 37A and Nos 38 to 69 (consec) form a group, of which Nos 11 and 12, 17 to 19 (consec), Storage premises to left of 28 and 29, 37, 37A, 38 and 39, 41 and 65 to 69 are of local interest. Nos 1 to 4 (consec) also form a group with the Wesleyan Day School.
