1/96 Bavinge Farm House (formerly listed as 29.12.66 Wigmore Place Farm)

Farmhouse. Probably C17 or earlier, with early C18 facade and later alterations. Chequered red and grey brick. Left end section later red and grey brick in English bond to ground floor, Flemish bond to first floor. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. Brick plinth to left of door, flint plinth with brick top courses to right of door. Plat bond. Hipped roof. Multiflue red brick stack in rear slope of roof towards centre and smaller multiflue red and grey brick stack towards right end. Irregular fenestration of 5 windows; one two-light casement to left end, broadly-spaced from rest, one multi-pane three-light casement to left of stack, one small fifteen-pane light in blocked large opening under stack, and one multipane three-light casement each side of right stack. Three similar three-light casements to ground floor. Ribbed door with flat floating hood, under stack. Brick rear lean-to. Interior not inspected.
