School. 1879. Red brick with blue brick and ashlar dressings.
Plain tile roof. Single red brick stack to front right. Ashlar
coped gables with 3 remaining ridge finials. Decorative eaves
band brocken by the gabled bays. Set on a red and blue brick
plinth. Ashlar sill band broken by the doorways. Flush blue
brick bands including continuous hood mould band. Single storey,
9 bays. The left 2 bays and the 2 bays third and fourth from the
right project and are gabled. The right single bay projects
further and is gabled. The single bay fourth from the left is
gabled. Having from left to right a single pointed arched 2 ight
window with arched glazing bar sashes, plate tracery, hood mould
and decorative label stops; a pointed arched doorway with plank
door, glazing bar overlight, plate tracery and hood mould with
decorative label stops; a single pair of segmental arched
casements; a single large tripartite cross window with glazing
bars below the transom, the ashlar lintel inscribed "1879", the
pointed ashlar arch over decorated with some brick dogtooth and
inscribed "Board Schools" with single central shield set into a
panel, hood mould and label stops over; a single pair of similar
casements' 2 pointed arched glazing bar 2 ight sashes with hood
moulds and decorative label stops; a single similar pair of
casements and a pointed arched doorway with plank door, plate
tracery, hood mould and decorative label stops flanked by single
small fixed lights, over, in the apex, is a single small
rectangular opening. Above, in the other projecting bays are
single roundels with plate tracery, over are 3 rectangular
openings with single ashlar bands extending under.
