House, now shop and cottage. Mid C17. Timber frame, red brick,
being rendered in parts and whitewashed. Plain tile roof.
Single red brick stack to rear. Set on a plinth in parts. Gable
end fronting Main Street. 2 storeys with first floor jetty, 3
bays. Single tripartite shop window with doorway with glazing
bar door to the right, further right is a single small glazing
bar casement. Above is a single tripartite glazing bar
Yorkshire sash. Visible timber includes a studded panel with
curved brace. Bucks Lane front has from left to right a doorway
with stable door, a single glazing bar Yorkshire sash, a doorway
with part glazed door and 2 fixed lights. Above are 2 casements
with single fixed light to the right, a doorway with panelled
door, a single casement and on the far right a single Yorkshire
sash. Visible remains of timber include 8 posts, several rails,
6 braces and wall plate. to the right is a whitewashed brick and
slate wing with left red brick stack. Dentil eaves. 2 storeys,
2 bays. Single glazing bar casement with blocked doorway to the
right. No openings on the first floor.
