Farmhouse, now house. 1660 on datestone in gable. Irregularly coursed rubble with stone dressings and graduated stone slate roof. T-shaped plan with 2 bays, 2 storeys, and lean-tos against rear and right gables. Entrance porch appears to have been altered but has coped gable with kneelers. 2-light casement window to either side of porch and 2 3-light casement gabled dormer windows above. Stone quoins, gable stacks, coped gables some of the kneelers having ornate finials. The rear wing is detailed similarly and has another gabled dormer window, a door with stone lintel, and similar window openings. Interior has timber-framed partitions, chamfered beams and some oak panelling from Marple Hall.
