House, former shop and adjoining cottage. Probably early C19 with circa 1950 extensions. Plastered cob on rubble footings; stone rubble stack topped with C20 brick; thatch roof, corrugated asbestos to extension. House faces south away from road and comprises a single large room with rear lateral stack and former shop on left (west end. Circa 1950 service outshots to rear. 2 storeys to house, 1 storey with attic to former shop. House has irregular 2-window front of early C20 casements with glazing bars with C20 door at right end behind glass monopitch roofed and glass-walled porch. Former shop has C20 door at left end with contemporary window alongside. Gable-ended roof. Interior: has plain carpentry detail including 2 roughly-finished crossbeams to main room and rear fireplace is blocked. Cob crosswall between main house and former shop. Roof not inspected. Included for group value.
