5/20 Greasby Old Hall (formerly listed as Old Hall 5/6/53 Farmhouse)

House. Possibly early C17 with later C17 brick additions. Stone and brick with roughcast and slate roof. 2 storeys with attic, 4 bays, the 1st 2 bays of stone; the 2nd bay forms 2-storey gabled porch with lean-to outshut to left return; 4th bay projects under gable with attic. Porch has 2 drip moulds and coped gable with kneelers, 4th bay has 2 brick bands raised over windows, stone quoins. Porch has 4- light double-chamfered-mullioned window over worn stone panel with shield. Other windows have various casements. Segmental-headed entrance with original wide-boarded inner door with studs and strap hinges. Porch has recesses on either side and diamond-patterned flags. 2 cross-axial stacks. Rear is roughcast. Interior not inspected but said to have priest hole.
