House. 1899-1901 by Robert Weir Schultz in an Arts and Craft Neo-Georgian style. Rendered with red brick window dressings, weather-boarded gables and plain tiled roof. 2 storeys and attics with end return pediment gables with moulded cornices, enclosing keyed circular windows. Tall brick stacks in re-entrant angles of roof with projecting stack rising into three diamond shafts to left and large stack to rear at right. Central Venetian style dormer. Regular 9 window front, in 3:3:3 rhythm with these on end of projecting gables in 3 sided bays topped by cornice with flat gables above set back behind. Glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick heads on bays, with casements with rubbed brick heads on first floor of central recess, and cross-windows on ground-floor flanking entrance. Central entrance with doubled panelled doors in heavily rusticated stone surround capped by heavy stone semicircular hood on console brackets under side wings. Cartouche under hood.
