1099 UPPER CHURCH LANE (North West Side) The front garden wall to The Rectory

SU 8346 NE 5/58A II

C18 ato C19 and later. High wall of brick with bricj coping extends from the eastern entrance to the Church south-westwards along Upper Church Lane as far as the entrance to the Church of England Schools. Patched in places. SOme clunch is lower part. Over left hand entrance (before steps leading up to the front door) there is a C19 semi-circular arched bar overthro with partly twisted stem. THis rises to support a tall retangular lamp bracket to the top of which there is fasterend a quadrangular lamp with cresting. Ledged door.

The listed buildings in Upper Church Lane (North West side), Churchyard, Middle Church Lane, Lower Church Lane (West end), Church Passage and Vicarage Lane, form a group.
