NEW ROAD 1. 5407 (West Side) No l3 SU 1869 1/277 II OV 2. C18, with Cl9 shop front. Colour-washed brick. Hipped slate roof. 2 storeys and parapet. 2 sashes with glazing bars on lst floor. Glazed tile shop front projects, has overhanging canopy without bargeboards, and elaborate fascia board above. 1 plate glass window, flanked by 2 doors with oblong fanlights, right hand one with elaborate iron grille. iron rail for hanging game, on iron brackets. Parade elevation has glazed tile ground floor, tile-hung lst floor: ground floor has Cl9 plate glass windows, 1st floor sashes with glazing bars. Curved extension along south and west of New Road. Colourwashed brick, pitched old tile roof. lst part 2 storey, with 1 sash with glazing bars in cased frames on 1st floor, and Yorkshirecasement with glazing bars on ground floor. Remainder 1 storey, with 1 casement, 1 open window with iron bars, and 1 planked loft door. No 13 forms a group with Nos 1 to 4 (consec), The Parade
