HIGH OFFLEY SHROPSHIRE UNION CANAL SJ 72 NE 603/5/16 Shebdon Aqueduct at SJ 758 261 - II
Aqueduct. c1829-32. Telford design. Similar north and south postals of stone, with semi-circular arches with voussoirs and impost bands returning through tunnel. Stonework given banded rustication inside tunnel. Both postals have right-angled wing- walls. Stone copings. Canal embankment above south postal has sloping brick paving rising to plain brick parapet wall, not part of original structure.
